2. Application of RO ROCHEM technology for leachate treatment

2.1 Explaining the RO ROCHEM technology diagram for treating leachate in Thai Nguyen
The leachate from the Collection Tank will be pumped into the RO ROCHEM system by the Inlet Pump located in front of the Rough Filter Pump.
The Rough Filter Pump helps ensure the pressure for the wastewater to be filtered through the filter system. Including sand filter and fine filter to remove trash and suspended solids with a size > 10 μm. In addition, chemicals will be added to the leachate on the pipeline to create the best environment for the RO membrane to operate.
After being pre-filtered, the wastewater will be pumped by a High Pressure Pump (up to 60 bar) into the PFRO – ROCHEM membrane module system.
When the wastewater passes through high pressure and enters the system of these RO module clusters, it will be separated into 2 streams. One is the clean water stream (recovered water) and the concentrated stream (stream concentrated with pollutants in the input wastewater).
The entire operation of the RO system is automatically controlled by the PLC program, the clean water of the RO system is continuously quality controlled by the dissolved solids concentration measuring device and is stored in the tank for reuse or disposal.
The concentrated stream is stored in the concentrated stream tank before being returned to the landfill.

2.2 Results of leachate treatment in Thai Nguyen

Before proceeding with the design, construction and installation plan, we will have a Pilot system to test the difference between theory and reality, avoiding any problems during the implementation process. The content of the Pilot test is explained specifically as follows:
– TVTS will provide the PILOT system, operating techniques, chemicals to the construction site at the factory
– The cost of transporting the Pilot is borne by the Investor (this cost will be deducted when the two parties sign an official contract)
– The Investor arranges support personnel, forklifts to lower the system, prepares power sources and connects pipes for Pilot operation at the construction site.
– The actual test run on the Pilot system is conducted for 5 consecutive days to evaluate the quality after treatment.
During the first year of system operation, TVTS provides support activities on a basic basis when the Investor requests. TVTS’s staff is always ready to support via phone, fax, and email when the system operation has problems.
In case of necessity, TVTS’s technicians will be present directly at the construction site to handle any problems that occur and at the same time instruct the factory staff on how to fix the problem.
