1. Project information
– Project name: Construction, installation and equipment, operation of molasses wastewater treatment system.
– Location: Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.
– Capacity: 2,600 m3/day and night.
2. Input parameters of processing system
- Type, level of construction: Level III technical infrastructure construction.
- Input water: Food industry wastewater group. Allowable TDS index up to 10,000 ppm, COD about 12,300 ppm.
3. Proposed technology and treatment solutions
Applying technological process: PFRO ROCHEM reverse osmosis membrane technology.
In PFRO membrane technology, raw water flows through the frame and disc membrane structure. Then through the reverse osmosis membrane. Suspended substances, bacteria and viruses are separated to obtain a quantity of pure water permeating through the membrane. The pure water after treatment has a COD below 75 ppm, ensuring the prescribed standards.
4. Strengths of processing technology
- Treats wastewater with TDS concentrations up to 100,000 mg/l.
- Eliminates most bacteria in the water.
- Treated water meets reuse standards for the production process
5. Water treatment results
Quality: Meets column A, QCVN 40:2011 BTNMT.
Wastewater after treatment meets the standards for reuse for sanitation purposes and maintaining green areas.
